Dual Car Stereo Amps

If you have purchased dual car stereo amps for your car, then you will need to know how to install them.  This installation guide will provide you with some excellent tips and advice on how to do this.

Before installation can begin you will need a good CD player and a dual amp wiring kit.  The power cable that you use should include an inline fuse.  You will need to open the cap and remove this fuse from its holder.  This will allow you to connect your dual car stereo amps without having to worry about damaging any components or draining your car battery.  The next thing that you will need to do is connect your cables.  You will also need to connect a chassis ground.

Once you have completed all the wiring the next step will be your speakers.  Depending on the amps you are using you may be able to bridge channels.  You will need to ensure that you don’t connect several speakers parallel with each other as different speakers will use different ohms and by connecting them incorrectly you can damage your amps and possibly your speakers.

Once you have completed all this, your next step will be final configurations.  You should try to resist any urges you may have to tamper with the on board settings of your amplifier, that is of course unless you are an expert.  Increasing the gain or base boost can damage both your car audio system and your speakers.  The factory setting that are already preset should provide sufficient base and if needed you should adjust your CD player setting to achieve the best sound quality.

After all this has been completed, the next thing that you will need to do, is get in your car, take a drive, and enjoy your great sounding music.
