Car Audio OEM Interface

When it comes to your car stereo, let’s face it we are always looking for ways to make it better and what easier way to do this than with a car audio OEM interface.  There are many different types of OEM interfaces available on the markets today and listed below are just three of them and details of what they can do for your car audio system.

The first car audio OEM interface that we will look at is the OEM-2.  This is a one piece solution that is used when you want to replace your car radio or you want to add an amplifier.  This OEM interface works by isolation the car system and providing a 4 channel signal level converter.  An internal remote trigger and a common ground speaker conversion unit is also included making this OEM interface a multi-problem solving interface.

The features of this OEM interface include the ability to adjust up to 4 channels of signal input from 2 to 60 watts.  The OEM-2 also isolates the input and output circuits which helps to block DC noise and this interface also allows for conversion of floating ground head units to match common ground speaker systems.

The second interface we are looking at is completely different and this interface is the IRX PAC Audio Universal Infrared Repeater.  This interface is used to control items that are out of sight and includes VCR, DVD, and car stereos that may be located in the trunk of glove box of your car.

The third interface is the iCruze OEM CD Changer iPod Interface Module and this interface will allow you to connect and use your iPod directly through your car stereo.  Because a direct connection is used it means that you get excellent sound quality and your iPod gets charged at the same time.  With this OEM interface you can now listen to hundreds of songs without having to change your CD.
